Drew Fagan is a Professor of Public Policy in the Master of Public Policy program. Prior to joining the School, he worked in various roles in the Ontario Public Service, including Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, with responsibility for overseeing government-wide capital expenditures, and Deputy Minister responsible for the Pan and Parapan American Games.

Bill Forward

Bill Forward is a Fellow in the Master of Public Policy program. He recently served as Acting Director of the Mowat Centre. Previously, he served a number of years in the Ontario Public Service, including as Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

Jonathan Hall

Jonathan Hall is an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on urban transportation. His recent work has focused on how to design road tolls so they help all road users and measuring the effect of Uber on public transportation. Professor Hall received his B.A. from Brigham Young University and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.

Janet Mason

Janet Mason is a Senior Fellow in the Master of Public Policy program. She spent three decades in the Ontario Public Service, including as Assistant Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and recently served on the Mayor’s Task Force on Toronto Community Housing.

Darius Ornston

Darius Ornston, an Assistant Professor at the Munk School, teaches in the Master of Global Affairs program and specializes in the political economy of Nordic Europe. He is currently examining the politics of innovation at the municipal level with projects on regional branding and large firms in small communities.

Richard Stren

Richard Stren, Emeritus Professor of Political Science and Senior Fellow at the Global Cities Institute, teaches urban policy in the Master of Public Policy program. He has written or edited 18 books in both English and French, and more than 60 articles and book chapters on cities and comparative urban policy.

David Wolfe

Affiliated Faculty

David Wolfe is Co-director of the Innovation Policy Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. His interest in cities focuses on the political economy of technological change and the role of local and regional economic development. He has published numerous books and scholarly articles, including 21st Century Cities in Canada: The Geography of Innovation.

Dan Zuberi

Dan Zuberi is RBC Chair and Professor of Social Policy at the Munk School, with a joint appointment to the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. His research focuses on urban poverty, health, education, employment and social welfare. His most recent book is entitled (Re)Generating Inclusive Cities: Poverty and Planning in Urban North America (Routledge, 2018).
