Ananya holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University and is currently in her second year of studies at the Master of Public Policy program at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. She joins the Urban Policy Lab after completing an internship with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement’s Policy and Governance Branch, where she supported policy analysis and the development of consumer protection initiatives, including legislative and regulatory frameworks related to condominiums, new homes, and business law. Ananya is interested in tackling urban challenges related to housing and infrastructure, transportation, and energy. She is passionate about developing thoughtful, inclusive policies by fostering collaboration between communities and policymakers to ensure that diverse perspectives shape more effective and responsive solutions.
