Moaiad Saif holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in the Life Sciences from McMaster University and is currently in his second year of the Master of Public Policy Program at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Moaiad joins the Urban Policy Lab after completing his summer internship at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, where he worked as a Privacy and FOI Policy Co-op Student within the Compliance Division, contributing to the development and maintenance of corporate privacy and freedom of information policies. Moaiad is interested in inclusive urban policymaking, particularly how civic engagement processes can better reach newcomers and equity-deserving communities to strengthen democratic participation in the city.
