Abdur (Mani) Rehman holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from New York University and is currently in his second year of the Master of Public Policy at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. After completing his co-op this past summer at Ontario’s Ministry of Health (MOH), Mani is continuing at the ministry as a Policy Analyst in the Strategic Policy Branch. At MOH his work supports strategic planning and priorities for the ministry including Ontario’s compliance with the federal Canada Health Act Services Policy and the development of a dementia strategy to improve access, consistency and quality of care for Ontarians. With 5+ years of experience working in research, urban design and data analytics, Mani is deeply invested in cultivating people-centered cities through civic engagement and thoughtful approaches to public health, housing, public space and transportation
