Saarah Khan

Saarah holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and History from the University of Toronto and is currently in her second year of the Master of Public Policy program at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. She joins the Urban Policy Lab after completing an internship with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services’ Community and Developmental Services Branch where she worked on designing and developing policy options for change initiatives and programs informed by the ministry’s reform plan “Journey to Belonging: Choice and Inclusion”. With +3 years of experience working for the City of Toronto, Saarah is passionate about the role of public services like housing and transit in community-building and looks to support inclusive policymaking that contributes to a more caring and vibrant city
